PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Public Transportation will be closed at Midnight and AFTER goes until 2am, so we strongly recommend that you make arrangements to get back home.  Getting to the event via public trans is easy, but getting back that way is not possible after midnight.

Those seeking public transportation to Oracle Arena and Overstock.com Coliseum have three options:

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART),
Capitol Corridor (AmTrak),
and AC Transit.

The Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (CCJPA) assisted the City of Oakland with the development of a mulitmodal station by integrating transportation services from the Capitol Corridor intercity train system (AmTrak) with AC Transit and BART, creating seamless service to the Complex, within 150 yards.
The Capitol Corridor is an intercity passenger train system that provides a convenient alternative to traveling along the congested I-80, I-680 and I-880 freeways. This fast, reliable and affordable rail line serves 17 stations in eight Northern California counties: Placer, Sacramento, Yolo, Solano, Contra Costa, Alameda, San Francisco and Santa Clara – a 170-mile rail corridor. An extensive, dedicated motorcoach network provides bus connections to destinations beyond the train station. Together, these systems serve the second-largest urban service area in the Western United States.

The CCJPA is a partnership among six local transit agencies in the service area, which share in the administration and management of the Capitol Corridor. It is your service. They remain committed to providing a high-quality rail experience to our customers and to improving the quality of life in the communities they serve through offering a safe, fast, frequent and reliable intercity train service.
